Mason also loses a civil case at the commencing of “The Case of the Useless Ringer,” partly due to being framed for witness tampering. He and his staff then spend the rest of the episode trying to prove his innocence. They eventually do, andВ—although this is not mentioned explicitlyВ—the verdict of the civil case is presumably possibly overturned or declared a mistrial. In a July 15, 2009, interview on Countrywide General public Radio ‘s program All Things Considered , Barbara Hale claimed that all of Mason’s lost cases were declared mistrials off the air. 15

On April 29, 2007, Rage Towards the Machine reunited at the Coachella Songs Festival. The band played in entrance of an EZLN backdrop to the biggest crowds of the festival. The overall performance was at first believed to be a one-off, this turned out not to be the case. The band played seven more exhibits in the United States in 2007 (including their first non-festival live performance in seven years at the Alpine Valley Songs Theater in East Troy, Wisconsin), and in January 2008, they played their first exhibits outside the US since re-forming as part of the Large Working day Out Festival in Australia and New Zealand.
